It has been reported in few Newspapers that Fake notes of Dn. Rs. 2000/- has found in few bank ATM locations. Hence, I am directed by the competent authority to request you to issue instructions to all Post offices to be cautious while accepting notes of Dn. Rs. 2000/- and also a special instruction may please be issued to all ATM locations to be more cautious while accepting and loading currencies for DOP ATMs.
